Programme européen

___ The HYPE project ran from January 2024 to February 2026. Supported by the Erasmus+ program (KA220 – YOU: Cooperation Partnerships in Youth), it aimed to strengthen non-formal education place initiatives dedicated to young people in Europe. Its ambition was to develop the psycho-social support and intersectoral cooperation capacities of youth professionals, thereby helping to remove socio-health barriers that young people face and facilitating their transition to adult life.

The expected outcomes were:

Improving young people's mental health status and empowering them to take care of themselves,

Evolving and consolidating youth professionals' support practices in matters of care,

Deploying synergies between the youth and health sectors to develop comprehensive support for young people's well-being and citizenship in Europe.

The project brought together 6 partner organizations: Coop Eskemm (Rennes, France), keur Eskemm (Rennes, France), Redon (Redon, France), Valo-Valmennus (Helsinki, Finland), Communa (Brussels, Belgium), Scomodo (Rome, Italy).

The activity program consisted of developing and publishing a transnational youth-led journal (WP2). It includes conducting a transnational action-training process for youth professionals resulting in the production of a sensitive practice framework titled "Places that care" (WP3). Finally, each youth organization experimented with cooperation with a healthcare facility, leading to the publication of experience feedback and practical guides (WP4).
